Product Description
This high quality improved Neubauer Pattern Haemocytometer consists of a moulded piece of thermal & shock resistant glass.
It is used for estimating the number of particles in a suspension.
The slide is designed for routine counts of red cells and white cells in blood, but can also be used for counting bacteria or yeast cells.
The cell has two counting grids, separated by a central trough and divided into 400 squares 0.05 x 0.05mm.
With the special coverslip in place, a volume of 2.5 x 10-4mm³ overlies each square.
This enables numbers of cells per unit volume to be determined.
Supplied complete with two special coverslips and 2 dilution pipettes.
