PNP Transistor Unit

Product Code : SCL-EE-12407

Quick Answer: The PNP Transistor Unit is a teaching unit for demonstrating PNP transistor operation, where the base controls current that normally flows from emitter to collector when the transistor is correctly biased.

Last updated: October 2026

Key Features

Teaches emitter, base and collector identification
Supports lessons on biasing, current control and switching action
Shows current flowing from emitter to collector under correct bias
Allows comparison with NPN transistor circuits

About This Product

After the terminals are identified, the unit is wired to the teacher's circuit diagram with suitable resistors where biasing or switching requires them, and meters are added to watch base current, collector current or voltage changes. Students switch on the low-voltage supply and observe the response, taking care not to reverse polarity. The PNP Transistor Unit is available for supply within India and for export to Mongolia, Mali, Chad, Comoros, Cambodia and Philippines.
