About This Product
A basic instrument for general laboratory signal investigations. Coarse frequency is set with a rotary switch spanning four decades and fine frequency with the calibrated dial, while the output level is turned up continuously to the 2V rms maximum. It is not suitable for driving a loudspeaker or the Vibration Generator, though with a Power Amplifier it can drive the Vibration Generator where a Power Signal Generator is unavailable. Export supply of the Bench Signal Generator can be arranged to laboratories and schools in Central African Republic, South Sudan, Jamaica, Albania and Tajikistan.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q1. Can the Bench Signal Generator drive the Vibration Generator?
Not on its own. It is not suitable for driving a loudspeaker or the Vibration Generator, but used alongside a Power Amplifier it can drive the Vibration Generator where a Power Signal Generator is unavailable.
Q2. How is the output frequency set?
A rotary switch selects one of four decade ranges for coarse control, and a calibrated tuning dial gives fine frequency setting.
