About This Product
The meter is built for measuring very small voltages. Suggested uses include the emf of thermocouples, strain gauges and Hall effect devices, and electromagnetic induction measurements. Because the meter reads either side of zero, the direction of an induced emf is easy to see. Depth rises to 206mm including the cable clips. The Microvoltmeter is available for supply within India and for export to Bulgaria, Brunei, Gabon, Egypt, Somalia and South Korea.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q1. Why use a microvoltmeter instead of a galvanometer? It replaces a centre-zero galvanometer with switchable ranges down to 100µV and an auto-zero facility, which makes small emf readings easier to take.
